About
I am the owner and founder of Children’s Speech Therapy Services. I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in the state of Maryland. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in speech pathology at the University of Maryland and my Master of Arts degree in communication disorders from George Washington University. I have over 20 years of experience across age ranges, from preschool to high school, in a variety of settings including public and private schools, in-home services, and summer camps.
A whole team approach!
I take a whole team approach and am always happy to collaborate with professionals (e.g., school, doctors, other therapists, etc.) that play an important role in your child’s life. Services are provided in your child’s natural environment (e.g., home or school). Also, I provide teletherapy, if appropriate for your child.
I am PEERS® certified (The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) and Tiny Tongues Myofunctional Treatment certified. I am an active member of xMinds, a collaborative partnership of parents, educators, and service providers working together to improve the educational experience and outcomes for autistic students in Pre-K–12 education in Montgomery County, MD.
